The weather here is 90% of the time clear skies and between 25 and 30 degrees. Once or twice a week it will thunderstorm big time at night, and half the time it's really muggy. It rarely rains during the day, maybe two or three times a month, but it's a warm rain and comes down in buckets for a couple of hours then clears up.

I got bitten by a couple of mozzies since I was here - the bite swells up like a golfball, so I think I must be mildly allergic to them. Maybe a few more bites and I'll be used to it.

I need a haircut, maybe tomorrow after work I'll stop by and get mine done. Today is a holiday in Canada. First Monday in July, August and September.

Deb's parents came over on Saturday for dinner, and gave us a bbq. (Thank you!!!) I'll be putting it together today, and then off to buy propane for it.

We're off into TO this weekend, for our anniversary. We'll be visiting the TO beer festival, like we did after we got married, and also the Taste Of The Danforth, which will be a first for both of us. We booked a hotel near the Eaton Centre for Saturday night.

Stopped off at Carolyn's B&B yesterday evening for her party. She lives 20km away, in Kitchener/Waterloo. It's a nice place she has - we may very well stay there one day. They have a pool, and the rooms are nice. If you're inthe area, I heartily recommend the place - It's called Mornington Crescent.

Not much to do here today, except follow the assembly instructions for the bbq, go to Canadian Tire for the propane, and sit on the deck sipping beer. It's a hard life ...
